WELCOME
Welcome to the heartbeat of the Fightin' Roo Band program — our award-winning Weatherford Roo Percussion Indoor Drumline!
This season, we’re proud to represent our school and community at NTCA and WGI competitions, with our biggest journey yet: WGI Nationals in Dayton, Ohio.
Every rehearsal, every note, every step brings us closer to the moment we take the floor and share our sound with the world.

Your contribution directly supports our students’ experience and ensures that this season will be the most memorable one yet. Corporate sponsor incentives available!

Follow the band on social media for updates, behind the scenes action, shout-outs and more!

To empower students through the art of performance, discipline, and teamwork — building confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills both on and off the floor.

WHAT IS INDOOR DRUMLINE?
Think marching band meets theater — that’s indoor drumline in a nutshell. It’s a high-energy, performance-based activity that blends live music, movement, and visual storytelling. Each season, our percussion ensemble builds an original show complete with costumes, props, and choreography — oh and DRUMS, that all tie into a theme.
Practices happen after school and on weekends — all while students juggle academics, concert band, clubs, sports, jobs, and everything else that comes with being a high schooler. Our ensemble is more than a group of musicians. It’s a family — one that learns, grows, and performs together while representing the best of what young people can achieve through hard work, creativity, and community.
We compete in two circuits — NTCA (North Texas Color Guard Association) and WGI (Winter Guard International) where each season, ensembles across the country design completely original shows, performing in judged competitions that evaluate musical excellence, visual performance, and overall effect.
